Chasing bunnies
The majority of my walks are uneventful. Some days there won't be anything good to capture. The desert will just be dead. Jackrabbits are everywhere, but most of the time they hear me coming from a mile away and I can see them running off. By the time I get in position with my camera they are already gone. They always keep a very large distance away from me.
Then there are the times when they just don't seem to care. I was able to capture this series from one spot as the rabbit got closer and closer. He came within 10 feet of me and then finally seemed to lose interest and continued on his way. Look at the size of those ears!
