One year after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, we were lucky enough to be able to go there and visit. We were new home owners and money was very tight for us that year, but lucky us, the flight and hotel room were paid in full by Harrah's Casino. If it had not been for that offer, we would never have visited. We were pinching pennies the entire time we were there. Since that trip, I have never received any offer close to what Harrah's provided us that week in New Orleans.
Almost a decade later, we are going back. These select pictures were taken during our trip in 2006.
